This past Sunday was Anthony and Angelina's 1st birthday!!! They enjoyed a spaghetti dinner packed full of veggies followed by chocolate cupcakes without frosting! Anthony dove right in and Angelina eventually did. They are quite adorable! Can't wait for Christmas!
As many of you know, we had a very powerful wind storm here last week. People are saying it is in the worst in decades and many are still without power around here. My parents lost the tree in their front yard, thankfully it didn't hit the house or any vehicles!
Here is Scott's final product. His wreath was the envy of the teacher's, she wanted to keep it to share with everyone. I chose to taste the wine rather than make a wreath.
Scott and Hilary making their wreathes Rich and Julie working together to make a beautiful wreath! What a team! The Lester Family Another shot of our lovely Christmas tree!!
Kristin and Angelina out tree hunting, her first time in the backpack, she had a great time! Our first tree in our first house!! Sorry the pic is a little blurry, but you get the idea.
Our house at night, isn't it beautiful?? Basketball anyone??? Our deck with about 5-6 inches of snow Our backyard, in the right corner is our gravel pit, covered in snow.
After a grueling road trip to and from Montana for Thanksgiving, we came home to over 6 inches of snow that fell yesterday! Wow!! At the top is the snow starting to fall and as it progressed throughout the day. Quite beautiful!
The Snohomish River at just about flood stage, we set a new record of 33.6 feet! (During the flood) The same spot as above, notice the difference! Cleaning up debris left from the flood, they are clearing trees and mud from the roadway, farms and soccer fields. Still a little water left over. Notice the rain spots on the windshield, it never seems to stop!
Angelina playing music with the scooping spoons. That provided more entertainment than the pumpkins themselves. Our final products. Oooohhhhh...scary! We carved one for Lena as well, her first Halloween also. Angelina got bored with the carving and didn't want to try and eat the pumpkin, so she moved onto playing music for us. Such the entertainer!!
Scott, our master carver Anthony and Scott doing some carving together The twins looking a little overwhelmed with the whole processAnthony giving his "thumbs up" approval on the carving!! :)
