We always carve a pumpkin following our beloved PLU theme. This year involved a PLU football, unfortunately, we didn't win! We lost to all the children, next year it will be different!
Kendra, Kristin, Brigitta and Julie enjoying the carvings! Kendra is finally back in WA after many stints in Italy and living in Chicago. We are so glad to have her home!

Cousins
Angelina giving Brigitta a little pat
Anthony was trying to offer his juice to Brigitta while Angelina was her little protector. Can you see a small smile from Brigitta?
Giving the baby a kiss!
As we were heading out the door, I wanted to get a shot of all 3 of the kids. No one can sit still for me! Brigitta was crying and the twins were moving all around, oh well, maybe in a few more weeks everyone will cooperate.

Pumpkin Carving
My dad and Scott working on our pumpkins on Sunday.
Here are the final products and yes we did use templates for 2 out of the 3 pumpkins, can you figure out which ones???
Anthony and Angelina watching the process. Anthony was more interested in his Thomas the Train book and Angelina was drinking her milk.
She got bored with the carving, so she got out her coloring book and went to work.

5 weeks
Hard to believe that Brigitta is 5 weeks old already! These pictures were taken on Saturday while she was hanging out with her daddy. I'm trying to take a shot that will work for her birth announcement, nothing yet!

Petting Zoo
The Farm in Snohomish has a petting zoo along with the enormous pumpkin patch and the kids loved checking out the cows, donkeys, roosters, sheep, pigs and goats. Angelina was not a fan of the muddy wheelbarrow to start with, but once she got moving, she loved it!

Angelina trying to decide if she wants green or orange!
Going for a ride with our final selections! We had a great day at The Farm in Snohomish, great weather and lots for the kids to see!

One Month Appointment
Yesterday, B and I went to her one month appointment. Everything looks great!! She is now 9 lbs. 8 0z., definitely up from her birth weight of 7 lbs. 13 oz., and she is now 20 3/4 inches long compared to 19 1/2 inches at birth. The doctor said she is in the 50th percentile for both her height and weight and is growing at a very good pace. She is still fighting a little cold, but her doctor said everything looked fine and keep doing what we are doing AND her thrush is getting much better, thank heavens for antibiotics.
She is still eating and sleeping very, very well. Her nightly schedule has become going to bed at 10, waking up at about 2 or 3 to eat and then back to sleep until about 5 or 6. Not bad at all!! Hopefully we can stick with that for a while.
Her personality is starting to shine through, she is cooing and smiling a lot. She follows us with her eyes and will turn her head to our voices and smile when we talk to her.
Anthony and Angelina love her to pieces as well!! Constantly saying, "hi baby!" and giving her pats and rubbing her head. So much love for our little Brigitta!

Smile
After a very pleasant afternoon nap, Brigitta was cooing and grinning at the bunny hanging in front of her. I have video of her giggling and once I figure out how to get that posted, I will put that on the blog as well!

Still sick...
Our family sickness has passed from Scott to Brigitta and now I have larengitis. My voice is slowly but surely coming back, but I'm exhausted during the day. And, yesterday I took B to the doctor because we thought she might have thrush and she does have it a little bit. So, she is now on antibiotics and hopefully it will clear up within the week. On the flip side, she got weighed and is now 9 lbs. 1 oz., our little girl is certainly putting on the weight!

Swing
Brigitta enjoying her swing for the first time. She loves to look at things above her head, whether it is her mobile, clings on her wall or the teddy bears on her swing. They all captivate her!
