Hooray!!

We have big news! Yesterday I attempted feeding Brigitta with a bottle and she took to it with no problem at all!! That is wonderful because in a little over a month, I am headed back to work and she will be drinking from a bottle exclusively during the day. Having her take to the bottle so well, will definitely help with the transition.

A rare picture of Brigitta and momma! (I'm usually taking the pictures!) Miss Brigitta is now 10 weeks old and is growing like a weed. She had her 2 month appointment for shots and well-child check up last week. She is now 11 pounds and almost 1 ounce and is 22 inches long. B is in the 25th percentile for length and 50th percentile for weight, definitely going to be short like her momma. She got 4 shots and did great! She is starting to sit up some on her own, so we have pulled out her exersaucer to start building those muscles. We visited her daycare last week and met some of the kids, the girls absolutely loved her and we are very happy with our decision and know she will be equally loved and cared for there once I go back to work in January.

We finally got her announcements ordered, so those will be going out shortly!! Hope you like the design!

All of us on Thanksgiving, just hanging out. The twins absolutely love Brigitta and always want to be around her, giving kisses and hugs whenever possible. Hard to believe they will be 2 in a few weeks!!

Cat Fight

As everyone knows, our Lena is an inside only cat, but definitely enjoys watching the neighborhood through her many windows. The black and white cat in this picture is our neighbor cat that uses our flower bed as his personal litter box, catches birds in our backyard and antagonizes Lena through the window. Here they are on Thanksgiving morning, "fighting" through our window. Each cat gets hunched up, hisses and attacks the window...pretty entertaining to watch!

2 months old

Our little Brigitta turned 2 months old yesterday! I tried to post these yesterday, but Blogger wasn't cooperating! She is doing really well, still eating and sleeping like a champ. Next week is her well child check up and next round of shots and once we get updated numbers for her weight and length, I will post those as well. Isn't she adorable??

Happy Halloween!

Brigitta's first Halloween was as exciting as this picture looks!! She slept through all of our trick-or-treaters and didn't get to delight in any of the candy. (So, mom and dad ate it for her!)
