Lake Wenatchee

A few more pictures of the lake, it was just gorgeous! I don't remember going as a kid, but apparently we camped here once and not only was the wind about the same, but I gotten eaten ALIVE by mosquitoes! Ahhh, childhood memories!

Kite flying on the shores of the lake. The wind was blowing so hard and it was so cold, we stayed for a few pictures and that was it! Brrr!!!

The Beautiful, The Beautiful River

Our cabin was just steps away from the river and I couldn't resist walking down both mornings with a cup of coffee to enjoy the sunshine and the quietness of the outdoors. Even though Western Washington was dealing with a freak snowstorm, we had beautiful sunny days! (even though it did snow off and on)

Castle Girl Annual Reunion

This past weekend, I met up with 5 friends, 1 dog and a 3 year old for a weekend of relaxation and girl bonding. The 6 of us lived together during our junior and senior years of college and we have stayed the best of friends 7 years later. Each year we try and get together for a weekend to bond again.

This year we met at a cabin just outside Plain, WA near Lake Wenatchee State Park. The cabin was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Can't wait for next year's trip...wonder where it will be! :)

Swinging

Anthony was a little nervous, but slowly warmed up to the swinging idea and in the end, LOVED it!

Playing at Grandma and Grandpa's House

Just a few pics of B playing at G & G's house one Saturday. She loved the ties on this blanket more than the toys, so typical of B. She loves the tags and ties on clothing and blankets rather than the silky parts to help soothe her.

She is now 7 months old and is as adorable as ever. She is eating green beans, pears, applesauce, prunes, peaches, oatmeal, sweet potatoes and carrots on a regular basis and LOVES it all. B now loves to snuggle and gives out kisses on a regular basis. She is a very happy little girl and we feel very blessed and lucky.

Baptism 3.30.08

On Sunday, March 30th, we had Brigitta baptized along with her cousins. Our dear friends, Julie and Rich Kuehn were there as B's godparents and we are Anthony and Angelina's godparents. It was a wonderful day, all three of the kids did amazing! The night before we had quite a snow storm and it was still a little icy out, so the church was pretty empty.
