Helping daddy

Brigitta was more than happy to sit with daddy and help him out the other night. Little did she know, she was helping daddy install locks on our cabinets.

Blueberries

This past week, I introduced blueberries into Brigitta's diet. Despite the funny pictures, she does actually enjoy them! I LOVE blueberries probably more than life itself, so it makes not only me giddy that she likes them, but also my mom, who is the queen of blueberries.

Little known fact....there is a blueberry bush named...Brigitta! (my parent's have one in their garden) Talk about fate!

Anniversary Dinner

For our anniversary, we left Brigitta with G & G and headed to Sockeye's Restaurant in Monroe. It is a new restaurant on Lake Tye with seafood galore.

Here is our view from our table and my delicious strawberry martini! Yum, yum, yum!! I highly recommend one!

(man that was a hot day!) 2 years later, we are about 30 degrees cooler!

10 months old

Miss Brigitta is now 10 months old! Where has the time gone? I can look back to this time last year and remember the horrible back aches, pain in my hips and when she would literally be sitting on my nerve! Ahhh, the joys of pregnancy! :)

Let's see...what has Brigitta Ruth Sutton been up to these days. Well, she still isn't crawling, but does her own way of moving around by scooting across the floor on her little bootie. She is actually quite quick at these manuveur and almost hops across the floor when excited. B has started semi-pulling herself up on objects; like her crib, the coffee table, the stairs, our elliptical machine and any toy that can hold her.

Likes: yogurt w/fish oil (gotta get that brain saturated with good fats and oils), cottage cheese (new favorite), tofu w/applesauce, avocado, oatmeal, most fruits and veggies. She also LOVES her Baby Einstein videos. Just in case you didn't know - I'm one of those 'bad' moms that lets her daughter watch an educational video occasionally. :) Spending time with her cousins, grandma & grandpa, aunties and uncles - she loves attention and will smile and giggle and most anyone or anything!!

Dislikes: Not being able to move (cooped up in bouncy chair, etc.), gets frustrated now that the cupboards in our bathroom are locked up and she can't take everything out. As you'll notice, not many dislikes - we truly are blessed with a happy baby!

Brigitta still sleeps 10-13 hours per night and takes one nap in the afternoon that ranges from 2-3 hours. She loves when her dad comes home from work, her new swing and her adorable kitty Lena. (even though Lena might disagree with that statement)

This past week, we bought Brigitta a toddler swing. She has one at daycare and swings in it almost daily and absolutely LOVES it!

Here she is on her inagural ride and as you can see...she is quite enjoying herself!

Yesterday after our morning jog/walk, I noticed Brigitta was sound asleep when we got home. Rather than wake her, I just rolled her into the basement and let her continue to catch some zzz's! I was upstairs eating breakfast and could hear her snoring away!

The other night, I gave B a biter biscuit to keep her happy while I did the dishes. That was how the original mess started.

The mess intensified and grew as we ate dinner, here she has broccoli and yogurt all over her face, tray and body.

And yes, she did get a bath shortly after these pics were taken.

Baby...Garage Sale!

Last weekend, we attempted a garage sale! I was setting up the baby clothes in the lawn while B helped.

Thought it was a cute pic with the sign and all!

We didn't do too great, it was one of the first HOT days of summer around here, so we figure everyone was on the lake rather than shopping our junk.

Latest Trick

Brigitta has figured out how to open up the bottom drawer in our kitchen and proceeds to take out all of our dish towels. Such a good helper!!

Again, after these pics were taken, she slammed her little fingers in the drawer.

Laundry time?

Brigitta is starting to scoot, climb and reach for everything these days. She was starting to pull herself up on the basket, so I thought why not put her in...what could possibly happen?

Well, not too long after the pictures were taken, she tipped it forward and bonked her cheek on the coffee table. Not too happy!

Speed Racer

The twins on their bikes last weekend. We got them helmets from our neighbor, luckily there was a boy and a girl helmet. They love to wear them while they are speeding around the driveway.
