Sportin' a do-rag just like her daddy!

Enjoying dinner outside at her new picnic table. With the heat this past week, we've spent a lot of time playing and eating outdoors.

Daisy

As many of you know, we added a new member to our family over Memorial Day Weekend. We adopted an english springer spaniel named Daisy. She is 2 1/2 months old and quite adorable.

Warm weather

We have been experiencing some beautiful weather lately. Here are some pics from a few weeks ago when we celebrated Scott's birthday, Mother's Day and Andrew coming home for a short visit.

All three grandchildren going for a ride in the wheelbarrow
Angelina and Brigitta playing in the pool

This picture can be deceiving. It looks like Andrew is helping Angelina hang and swing in the apple tree. In reality, Uncle Andrew had Angelina hang in the tree with no support. Basically, a new way for us to torture her. The look on her face was at the end of our fun when she wanted down.

Brigitta

Since I haven't posted in forever with pics of Brigitta, here are some recent ones! Enjoy!

Plane Ride Home

On the ride back to WA, the agents gave us a row to ourselves with an empty seat in the middle. This was a life saver, especially after Brigitta had a major meltdown. She woke up screaming, flailing her arms and ended up hitting and scratching both Scott and I. Once she calmed down, she sat in the middle seat coloring and playing peek-a-boo with Gramma and Bompa, who were seated in front of us.

More hatchery

Upon entering the aquarium, they had this stuffed grizzly bear. We thought for sure it would scare Brigitta. Nope. She could've cared less.

Large tank in the center. (sorry for the butt shot)

Looking at the fish and star fish in this bubble tank.

Aquarium and Fish Hatchery

On Monday before we left AK, we visited the local aquarium and fish hatchery. Since the cruise ships and tourists hadn't arrived yet, we were the only ones there and that was a real treat. It allowed Brigitta to run free and we didn't have to worry as much.

Red Dog Saloon

After graduation we headed down to the Red Dog Saloon and had a few beers to celebrate! If you ever make it to Juneau, visiting the Red Dog is a must!

Happy Graduates!

Andrew and Tara - you did it! Welcome to the world of student loans and working 9-5!

Congratulations!

Andrew and Tara made crabs to put on their caps. This was great because we could easily spot them in the crowd.

Graduation

On Sunday of our trip we attended the graduation of Andrew and Tara.

The following pictures are at the beginning of the graduation, probably the first 5 minutes. That was the longest that Brigitta could sit. Doesn't she look happy in this picture?
