Is it February?

We woke up this morning to a trace amount of snow and it continued to dump all day long. It didn't really start to stick until this afternoon and we have about 3 inches at our house right now and the snow is still coming. It is beautiful, but a real pain to drive in!

How sweet...

Anthony and Uncle Scott, total buddies!
Angelina riding a bouncy horse on a playground near our church last weekend. She had a great time! Isn't she cute???
Here is a beautiful picture of Mt. Pilchuck. We can see this about a mile from house. Gorgeous!

Crocus Plants

Last week, I decided to take some pictures of our beautiful crocus bulbs that are blooming. Well, the bottom shot was taken about 20 minutes ago during our snow storm. We probably have 3 inches out there and it is still coming down hard. I hope they survive!

Out for a walk

Back in January we took the twins for a walk on the Centennial Trail in Snohomish. Everyone had really bad colds, including me, so I thought the fresh air would be good. They had a great time!

Lena

I had a request from lovely Kay-See to put pics of Lena up on the blog. Here are a few that we have saved over the few months that we've had her. Isn't she just adorable?!!?!?!

Happy New Year!!!

Happy New Year to everyone!! It is so hard to believe it is 2007 already, where did 2006 go? We had a wonderful 2006, with many blessings including buying our first home, getting our first adorable pet Lena and getting married this past July. I'm sure you all remember the heat, it was 93 in the church and it is on record as the hottest day of the summer. But, we thank all of you for sticking it out with minimal complaints!!

We are not really going to be making any resolutions this year, just the standard:

1. Get healthier
2. Exercise more
3. Pay off bills

As many of you know, Scott is preparing to take the next portion of his testing for a new position within his company. This Thursday comes the physical test, he is competing against only about 5 other people for 1 position, so fingers crossed everything goes well. As for me, I've decided to apply for a teaching position for the Washington Virtual Academy. (You can check it out for yourself at www.wava.org) I see it is a wonderful opportunity for me to still continue as a teacher and working with kids while being able to be home when we do plan to start our own little family.

So, here's hoping that 2007 brings you wealth, health and happiness!!

Happy Birthday!!!!

This past Sunday was Anthony and Angelina's 1st birthday!!! They enjoyed a spaghetti dinner packed full of veggies followed by chocolate cupcakes without frosting! Anthony dove right in and Angelina eventually did. They are quite adorable! Can't wait for Christmas!

Wind Storm

As many of you know, we had a very powerful wind storm here last week. People are saying it is in the worst in decades and many are still without power around here. My parents lost the tree in their front yard, thankfully it didn't hit the house or any vehicles!

The final product...

Here is Scott's final product. His wreath was the envy of the teacher's, she wanted to keep it to share with everyone. I chose to taste the wine rather than make a wreath.
