Gingerbread House

I know, I know, it's the beginning of April and I'm just now posting about Christmas. I downloaded over 200+ pics yesterday and realized I hadn't really blogged about xmas.

Here we are making our annual gingerbread house. It really involves me eating the candy while Scott builds the house with icing and the kids decorate.

The twins and the final project! This was the first year that Anthony helped out, other years he has been napping or not interested.

Before and After

So, over Christmas we put in a new kitchen sink. The 'we' was actually Scott and his brother Shaun who was here visiting over the holiday.

Before: we had a porcelain sink that was ridiculously stained and was original when the house was built in 1994. (we will be giving this sink away for free at our annual neighborhood garage sale in April)
After: we went with a deeper, stainless sink and a lovely new faucet. It took many hours to get the new sink in, but the boys did it!

Raising the 12th man flag

Before the game, someone raises the 12th man flag. Ken Griffey, Jr. raised the flag at our game, which was very cool to see. The stadium was insane - everyone was excited to see him.

We were seated below the 12th man flag, so this is a shot looking up at Griffey!
Our view! Not bad at all, thanks again Kuehn's we had a great time!

Seahawks vs. Titans

January 3rd, we headed out with our good friends the Kuehn's, to watch the Seahawks vs. Titans game. Little did we know then, that it would be head coach Jim Mora's last game.

Julie and I outside Pyramid Brewery...we stopped there for a few beers before the game.
Scott and I at the game - it was chilly, but thankfully the rain stayed away.
Superfan in front of us. He was a riot to watch, very entertaining despite our loss.

Harvest Night

Superman aka Anthony getting a tattoo

Patiently waiting in line for the cupcake walk, unfortunately we didn't win. boo! Anthony is dressed up as Superman and Angelina is herself...
Brigitta and Anthony making 'creepy crawlers'
Angelina getting in on the 'creepy crawler' creations
Everyone was tired and hot by the end of the night, but all in all, was a successful evening!

Fairy Princess

Brigitta is a fairy princess this year for Halloween. Last night was my school's Harvest Night, so we dressed her up along with the twins and headed up north for some good ol' fashioned fun.

potty training

Yep, we have started potty training with Brigitta. She has mostly started at daycare everyday and has taken it to it pretty well.

Below are shots of her on 'her potty' reading 'Goodnight Moon' while hoping to hear the faint sounds of 'tinkle, tinkle.'

brilliant

That's the only word to describe our 7 month old wonder dog...Daisy.

Last weekend it was pouring rain and Daisy was outside, of course, and this is what we saw on our deck. Apparently, riding out the rainstorm is more fun when perched on a picnic table.

Baby?

We pulled our baby papasan chair when Haylie came over a few weeks ago and it has stayed out because Brigitta loves curling up in it with her precious bear and blanket.

AVON Representative

So, I've made a little decision. I'm going to become an Avon Independent Sales Representative. This means that I will be selling Avon products through my personal Avon website and through the traditional form of sending out books and you place an order through me and then I deliver it to you.

I will not be out ringing door bells to promote my business, but rather through friends and family and others that you know that would like to order from Avon and through my business.

I contemplated getting involved with Avon 2 years ago when I had Brigitta. I saw it as another way to make some money to supplement our incomes and help pay for vacations, etc. I hemmed and hawed for two years now and finally bit the bullet. I met with a representative on Sunday and am now up and running. I grew up using Avon and have gone back little by little for a variety of items and find the quality to be outstanding.

So, if you are interested in ordering or surfing around without pressure and the luxury of home delivery, head over to my website and enjoy!

Daisy and popcorn

Recent shots of Daisy, she is now 6 months old and as hyper as ever. But we still love her just the same!

Brigitta enjoying her new favorite treat - POPCORN! She will push dinner out of the way, even when it is finished, and announce that she wants popcorn. I think we have created a monster with this. She is in our bed probably watching her new favorite show...The Wiggles! Damn! I thought we could get through life without watching those yahoos but apparently not!

2nd birthday brownies

Brigitta isn't a huge fan of cupcakes or cake, so I decided to make her brownies instead. She loved them along with some yummy ice cream!
