Nursery before...

This is the color of the room we are using as B's nursery before it was all painted. The bottom shot is covering with primer to make sure the orange color didn't peek through, which it did! We thought the orange might be too vibrant for a baby, keep her awake all of the time.

Lena

Lena's new favorite sleeping spot! You can see the indentation of her little body on the couch. This is where she spends most of her days and we think her nights as well. The middle picture is how she slept on the 4th, while we were busy painting the nursery upstairs. She appears oblivious to it all.

New furniture!

Our new sofa and loveseat arrived on Friday and they seem to make our little house finally feel like a home! Lena has settled right in, taking her spot on the sofa so she can observe what happens in the neighborhood!

Happy Birthday Dad!!

Two weekends ago we celebrated Father's Day and my dad's birthday. Here he is with the grandchildren blowing out the few birthday candles. They were quite mesmerized by the flames! We had a wonderful Father's Day, spending time with my family. Scott enjoyed his first Father's Day, receiving some new clippers/pruning shears from Lena and I and some delicious blueberry pancakes for breakfast. I couldn't ask for a better husband and father of my child!

So sweet...

Anthony all sacked out after playing with Uncle Scott at church on the slide and shooting hoops. Anthony woke up early from his nap and then curled back up in the chair and this is how we found him.

Angelina had just woken up from her nap, hence the blanket and lack of one shoe and sock. Anthony was rubbing her back and giving her kisses saying, "Sissy, Sissy!"

The adorable troublemakers after they had completely woken up and eaten dinner. They are enjoying their favorite thing...Barney!! Or, as Anthony would say, "Baney!"

Church Baby Shower

Here are the lovely pink and white cupcakes that were made for the baby shower. Everyone knows how I love cupcakes!!

The gorgeous view from the house was the shower was hosted. This is where Brigitta will attend daycare each day starting in January, once I go back to work. Pretty breathtaking!

28 weeks and counting

Okay, here are a few belly shots for those that have been asking. I am 28 weeks along with only 12 more to go. We have lots of work to do to get the room ready and everything put away and hopefully organized before Brigitta arrives. Please disregard the lovely smile on my face, that was after many hours of lower back and leg pain due to my sciatic nerve being on the fritz. All is well now, though!

Snoqualmie Falls Field Trip

Baby Shower

My school gave me a shower this past Monday and we got some very wonderful items for Brigitta, including her high chair!! We are very excited about that. The top is the cake that was made for the shower, you will notice it is in the shape of a buggy. This was made and designed by the woman that made our wedding cake and cupcakes. It was delicious!!

Westport, Washington

Scott and his family met up in Westport over a week ago for a little fishing and fun. Here are a few pics of the trip, including the one on the bottom with almost all of the grandkids on that side.
