Brigitta is officially 6 months old now. Time has certainly flown by! Our little girl is still sleeping successfully through the night, she averages 8-11 hours each night including weekends. What a blessing to us! B can roll from tummy to back, she hasn't gone the other way yet, but is very close. She can also sit up almost completely unsupported, she is working on building those core muscles.
Brigitta is babbling and cooing a lot and is starting to make, "da-da", noises...we are hoping, "ma-ma" is next. She loves Lena to pieces constantly wanting to pet her or grab her tail. Lena has been surprisingly patient with Brigitta and doesn't hiss, scratch or bite when she comes near her.
We had B's 6 month check up tonight and she currently weighs 15 pounds 2 ounces and is in the 30th percentile for her weight. Her length is 25 1/2 inches and falls in the 36th percentile. Her head circumference though falls in the 50th percentile range. So, long story short, she is a small girl with a big head!! :) That's our baby!!
B had her first taste of rice cereal this past Saturday and seemed to thoroughly enjoy it, she even tried grabbing the spoon from me and feeding herself!
Sorry I haven't posted in over a month, life has gotten in the way. We have lots of pictures and I'm hoping to post those soon!
