First Video!

I finally did it! After 1 1/2 years on blogger, I finally figured out how to upload a video. It was much easier than I thought! Woo hoo!

Here is a video of Brigitta bouncing (one of her favorite activities) and talking! Enjoy!! :)

Big Pimpin'..Spending G's!

Pretty nice ride!

Sorry for the glare, it has been rare to see sunshine here in the NW, so I thought it could be in the picture as well. :)

New trick

Brigitta still isn't crawling and doesn't have any teeth, BUT she can scoot across the room on her bum in nothing flat! Because she is so quick and inquistive and that is point, she has found how to open up the t.v. cabinet and take out all of the movies and DVD's. Such a fun trick!

She also now says, 'da-da and ma-ma.' She is babbling a lot and frequently that is how she wakes up from naps or from sleeping all night. Oh, and she still sleeps 10-12 hours each night. :)

Princess

Our little princess enjoying G-ma and Bompa's backyard this weekend. We were over on Sunday for Father's Day and my dad's birthday. I was playing with Anthony while B enjoyed the feeling of grass on her naked feet!

And yes, her shirt reads, "I'm Feeling Crabby" A gift from her father when he went to Westport a few weeks back for deep sea fishing.

Birds

The past two years we've had birds nesting in our front eaves. Every year when they leave the nests, we have good intentions of blocking the holes, so this practice cannot be continued. Well, we forget or something comes up (typical for us) and the next year comes around and new birds.

Here are some of the baby birds practicing their flying one night. I came home to the three of them, huddled together on our front step. The momma bird would fly by with worms to tempt them to try and fly back up to the nest. All three were very cautious and it took quite a while for them to get brave enough. The three of us (scott, lena and i) watched them for a good hour to hour and a half!

9 months old

Miss Brigitta is now 9 months old! Where has the time gone? We just got back from her check up and here are the results:

Weight: 18 lbs. 12.5 oz. and in the 48th percentile (no wonder my arm and shoulder get so tired of carrying her around...she's getting big!)

Length: 27 inches and in the 29th percentile (still our little girl)

Head Circumference: 45 cm or 17.72 inches for those of you in America and not familiar with the metric system. Head size is in the 78th percentile.

So, for a run down, our daughter basically is short and stout with a big head! We love you Brigitta!

Some of Miss B's favorites; tofu, sweet potatoes, green beans, carrots, avocados, apricots, pears, prunes, bananas, applesauce and we are going to introduce broccoli and yogurt here soon!

As a side note, I am officially done with my 7th year of teaching! Hoo-rah! I'm not a Marine by nature, but I love that cheer!
