Birds

The past two years we've had birds nesting in our front eaves. Every year when they leave the nests, we have good intentions of blocking the holes, so this practice cannot be continued. Well, we forget or something comes up (typical for us) and the next year comes around and new birds.

Here are some of the baby birds practicing their flying one night. I came home to the three of them, huddled together on our front step. The momma bird would fly by with worms to tempt them to try and fly back up to the nest. All three were very cautious and it took quite a while for them to get brave enough. The three of us (scott, lena and i) watched them for a good hour to hour and a half!
